Nick Cannon chauffeured his wife Mariah Carey around sunny Malibu over Memorial Day weekend in their drop-top Rolls-Royce Phantom. The couple of two years is rumored to be expecting their first child.

Adding more fuel to the fire is Mariah’s recent departure from Tyler Perry’s film For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf, in which she was to star alongside Janet Jackson.

“She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to,” the singer’s rep told UsMagazine.com. “More than that I cannot comment further.”

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have reportedly celebrated Memorial Day in Malibu.

The couple were photographed driving around the city in their Rolls-Royce Phantom during the holiday weekend, Rap-Up reports.

Carey, who recently pulled out of the Tyler Perry film For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf, has sparked rumours that she is expecting her first child with husband Cannon due to her abrupt exit.

Cannon has previously denied speculation that Carey is pregnant.

They say three is a charm, and after rumors that appeared at the beginning of the year, but were denied shortly later, that Lady Gaga and Beyoncé would make concerts in Puerto Rico, seems like the one that is actually going to perform in Boricua land is the pop diva Mariah Carey.

That would happen between the months of September and November of this year in the Coliseum de Puerto Rico, José Miguel Agrelot. This was confirmed for Primera Hora by the concert producer Maritza Casiano, who is in charge of negotiations to bring the singer of “Hero,” among other hits, but clarified that the concert is still in negotiations.

“We are going to finish negotiations next week. At this moment there is no final word, but we are close to getting a deal,” said Casiano, who also declared that the event will be a party to raise money. “With this concert I hope we can achieve the goal we set to raise money to start building in Hato Rey the first center of capacitation for children and teenagers with autism.”

When Mariah Carey pulled out of Tyler Perry’s latest film, it only increased speculation that the pop diva is pregnant. But her husband, America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon, dropped by E! studios Thursday night to clear the air.

“I do want to make a big announcement right here on Daily 10,” he told a reporter. “My Jack Russell terrier puppy Cha Cha is pregnant again!”

Though it remains to be seen whether or not the couple’s dog is really expecting, Carey dropped by Barbara Walters’s SIRIUS XM Radio talk show last year and said she hoped to become a mom – to some four-legged furballs. “I want [my dogs] to have puppies,” she said of Cha Cha and her other pup, JJ. “They’re going to be very cute!”

In that span, only Garth Brooks (68.4 million) and the Beatles (60.9 million) rank higher. Carey has six No. 1 Billboard 200 titles, including her best selling album, 1995’s “Daydream” (7.6 million). “Daydream” also yielded the 16-week Hot 100 No. 1 “One Sweet Day,” with Boyz II Men, marking the chart’s longest reign. The ballad subsequently earned the honor of Billboard’s top song of the ’90s. Carey’s 2005 14-week Hot 100 No. 1 “We Belong Together” likewise became the chart’s top title of the 2000s.
