Tyler Perry’s tenth film for Lionsgate, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf, is scheduled to begin principal photography on June 1 in Atlanta.

Perry directs his screen adaptation of the Obie Award-winning play by Ntozake Shange, and produces alongside Paul Hall. The film’s all-star cast includes Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Whoopi Goldberg, Phylicia Rashad, Jurnee Smollett, Kimberly Elise, Kerry Washington, Loretta Devine, Anika Noni Rose and Macy Gray.

For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf is scheduled for nationwide release on January 14, 2011.

Renewing one’s wedding vows is typically a once-in-a-lifetime experience. But Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey prefer to do it a little more frequently than that – like every year!

“I encourage everybody to do it. If you are happy and in love, celebrate it!” Cannon, 29, said Friday on his New York radio show, confirming that he and his pop-star wife, 40, will renew their vows – for a second time – to celebrate their second wedding anniversary.

“Don’t everybody do that?” the America’s Got Talent host asked. “Don’t, like, Heidi Klum and Seal do the same thing every year? It’s just something fun to celebrate. We renew our vows and exchange gifts.”

Their anniversary is this Friday, but as of last week, the couple hadn’t settled on a final plan for this year’s celebration. They wed in 2008 on Carey’s Bahamian estate, but aren’t looking for an island getaway this time around.

“We did that last year and the year before that, too,” says Cannon. “This year we want to do it like in a normal setting, so it might be in L.A. … Hey, I say we do it in a church in Brooklyn. That will be hot.”

Cannon says his gift to Carey this year is “something very thoughtful and it has nothing to do with money.” And he adds: “We are just trying to keep the romance alive. That’s all.”

She’s made no secret of her plans to start a family with Nick Cannon, so when Mariah Carey stepped out with a fuller figure than usual over the weekend she had all of Hollywood talking.

But the 40-year-old singer, who put her curvy figure on show in Beverly Hills on Saturday in a short orange dress, has been quick to nip the baby rumours in the bud.

Her spokesperson issued a statement denying speculation she’s expecting her first child, telling America’s Us Magazine that she’s ‘not pregnant’.

But the couple hope there will be children on the horizon eventually.

Cannon, 29, told MTV News in January: ‘We absolutely plan to have a family. But we gotta prioritize, because that’s a major, major priority. We wanna make sure everything is out of the way and that we don’t have any distractions.’

And they’ve already decided what they’ll call their first child.

Mariah said in October: ‘We have to keep the name secret because if we told everybody, then somebody might use it and then we have to change it, and then it wouldn’t be as good.
‘We picked these names out a long time ago.’

In the meantime, the pair, who dined at the Beverly Glen Deli after Mariah had a brief encounter with a police officer, are busy planning to renew their vows on their second wedding anniversary on April 30.

He revealed: ‘We get married every year! That’s our thing. That’s what we’ll be doing on the actual [anniversary]… We’ll do something, a party or event, just to celebrate.’

The couple first tied the knot in a secret ceremony in the Caribbean in 2008.

It was Carey’s second marriage – she wed record executive Tommy Mottola in 1993 but the pair divorced five years later.
