Mariah received a standing ovation from Walmart executives, VIPs and employees after a rousing live performance of “We Belong Together” and “Hero” at the company’s Shareholders’ Meeting in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Friday, June 4, 2010.

Hey, Mama! Showing off an extra-curvy figure, mom-to-be Mariah Carey hit the stage in Fayetteville, Ark. on Friday to sing for Wal-Mart shareholders. It’s the first time the diva has stepped out in public since a pal confirmed to Us that Carey is expecting.
Although Carey has yet to make a public announcement, she is “in the early stage of pregnancy”, waiting until after the first trimester to share the big news, the pal says in the new Us Weekly. Even her husband of two years Nick Cannon accidentally gushed about the pregnancy when chatting with fans in Malibu May 30. “Her bump is bigger. You can almost see it now. I’m very excited!”
Cannon, 29, later retreated a bit. “If and when my wife is ready to make any announcements about private matters she will do it personally,” he wrote on Twitter Wednesday night. The next morning, on his radio show, he added, “I’m pretty sure that when my wife is ready to make any announcement it won’t be to the media, to the public, first,” he said. “She’ll tell her family, she’ll tell her friends, and then, you know, when she’s ready to share with the rest of the world, who is her extended family and friends, then she’ll let everybody know.”

Mariah Carey Performs at Walmart Shareholders Meeting
Apparently all of Walmart’s “saving money and living better” has paid off for its shareholders. Attendees at the 2010 Walmart Shareholders Meeting were treated to performances by Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, and Josh Groban, among others. The huge event, which brought Walmart-ians from across the world, was held in Arkansas, home of Walmart.
The concerts were not the only treat for shareholders. According to their 2010 annual report, earning per share have increased every year since 2006, and are at $3.72 ($1.00 more than in 2006). Dividend per share has increased annually as well, with its 2010 amount being $1.09, 49 cents more than in 2006.
It’s unclear if Walmart got Walmart prices for the entertainers who performed this year. My feeling is it would have been nice for them to skip the performers for the shareholders and pass the savings on to those of us Walmart shoppers who haven’t seen annual gains since 2006. I don’t know about you, but I’m in the mood for some “roll-backs”.

Mariah Performs at Walmart Shareholders Meeting
Earlier today, a stunning Mariah Carey performed “We Belong Together” and “Hero” at the 2010 annual shareholders’ meeting of Wal-Mart stores. The event was held at the Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Mariah thanked Wal-Mart for their support in selling her perfumes and albums over the years.
During Mariah’s “We Belong Together” performance the crowd could be heard singing along. She performed “Hero” with a choir made up of Wal-Mart associates. After her set was finished, Mariah received a standing ovation. You clearly hear the crowds appreciation of Mimi’s performance via cheers and the ringing of cowbells.
